Four of the five family members who died in a car crash on the A18 Barton Street yesterday have been named.
Humberside Police released the information this afternoon.
They are David Cockburn, 48, the father of Carley Ann Cockburn, 21, and Bethany Cockburn, 18. Bethany's daughter, one-year-old Lacie Jade Stephenson, was also killed in the incident.
The fifth person has not yet been formally identified but it is understood to be the mother of the family, Angela, 49.
As reported, the family were travelling to Skegness from the Chester-le-Street area of Durham when their car was in collision with a light goods vehicle at about 12.30pm yesterday.
They were with friends who were travelling in other cars at the time of the incident, near Laceby.
The LGV driver suffered minor injuries, and the road is now reopened.
Police are using specialist technology to reconstruct the scene of the crash. The 3D images will provide the most accurate picture of what happened. Butlins has confirmed the family were travelling to take part in the Skegness Dance Festival at the resort. They were due to take part in a freestyle section of the competition, which they also attended last year. A tribute page on social networking site Facebook has been set up by well-wishers. Photographs of the family have been uploaded and there are already scores of messages.
Police inquiries are continuing - keep checking here for updates.
