Woman injured and has hair pulled out in assault at Cleethorpes pub

A woman suffered facial injuries and had some of her hair pulled out during an assault at a pub in Cleethorpes. Two women were dancing on the dance floor of The Swashbuckle in Grant Street on Saturday, March 30 when it is alleged that one of the women accidentally knocked into another woman who was dancing near her. The woman who was knocked into is then alleged to have assaulted the other woman. As the incident was taking place, a woman who was with the victim made an attempt to intervene and was assaulted by a woman who was believed to have been known to the offender. The two offending women were then ejected from the premises by door staff. One of the offenders is described as white, aged mid to late 20s and of a large build. She had red hair and was wearing all black. The other is described as white, of a large build and aged in her mid to late 40s with long, straight black hair. She was wearing a white top with black polka dots on it. Anyone who may have information in connection with the incident is asked to call Humberside Police tel 101 quoting crime reference 1966257.
