FRANKLIN College's brand new classroom block has been shortlisted for a architectural award.
The new building, designed by Hodson Architects, is in the running for a 2013 Yorkshire award from the Royal Institute of British Architects.
It was opened in the summer last year and Franklin spokesman Fiona Headridge said staff and pupils were "very proud" to make the list.
The winner will be announced in June and will then be in contention for the national award.
