MACCLESFIELD full-back Ryan Jackson says the Silkmen have "total respect" for Grimsby Town – but are targeting a league double nonetheless.
Steve King's men are aiming to bounce back from a shock 4-0 home defeat to Gateshead last Friday.
And Jackson is confident the play-off chasers can get their promotion bid back on track this evening.
"We've got another big game tonight," he said. "Grimsby are flying, they're in the FA Trophy final, they're high up and having a fantastic season.
"The league table is what it is. I have total respect for them but we know we're capable of beating them again.
"I'm confident we can push on and make the play-offs. We just need to stay positive.
"We were not at our best against Gateshead, we know that, but we have lots of positives from what's gone before.
"If we keep believing and a couple of clubs above drop points here and there we can stay in the game.
"We try to make our mark on every game we play, and that will be the same at Grimsby.
"You won't get much better players in this league. We just have to work hard and we can get higher – we should be higher in this league than we are. We've got the attributes and the ability."
