DAYLE Southwell was on target once again as Grimsby Town's Reserves drew 1-1 at Rotherham United.
The young striker, pictured, netted in last week's second-string defeat at Hartlepool, and was on the scoresheet again yesterday afternoon, to level the scores and give the Mariners a deserved share of the spoils.
The 19- year-old could also have grabbed a late Central League winner, but missed the target from the penalty spot.
Southwell was joined in a predominantly young Reserves side by fellow first-teamers Greg Fleming, Andi Thanoj and Frankie Artus.
Town: Greg Fleming, Blaize Kerr, Josh Morrall, Jack Griffin, Ellis Humble, Ben Cuff, Andi Thanoj, Will Peers, Rob Bryant, Dayle Southwell, Frankie Artus. Subs: Hamish Falconer, Lewis Smith, Sam Loughran, Callum Robinson, Caine Winfarrah.
