THE Met Office has issued a Yellow warning for snow and ice in North East Lincolnshire tonight.
A band of wintry showers are expected to move in from the west in the late evening which will initially fall as rain or sleet but are likely to turn to snow overnight.
Though some places will have frequent snow showers, others will have relatively few.
Accumulations of snow will therefore be highly variable with the worst affected areas, particularly over hills, predicted to see 5-10cm.
Strong winds will remain an issue with gusts of up to 50mph possible.
