AN APPLICATION to expand St Andrew's Hospice has been submitted to North East Lincolnshire Council.
The Peaks Lane facility has revealed plans to increase the number of bedrooms in the adult's department from eight to 12.
In addition they want to supply better day care and integration between Marie Curie, Macmillan and the general nursing team, create one integrated reception area and one common area for multi‐function space including cafe facilities.
The planning application also describes how both the adult and children's units are fully utilised and the need for expansion is crucial.
A decision is expected to be made on March 22.
