DARYL Clare's White Wolves will be looking to bounce back from their midweek disappointment when they travel to Bottesford Town this afternoon.

Louth warmed up for the game in North Lincolnshire with a narrow 2-1 defeat to mid-table outfit Clipstone Welfare.

Louth, who were without a number of key players, went behind mid-way through the first half to a Steve Carty strike.

However, Louth started the second half strongly and were soon rewarded for their efforts when Matt Kennedy drew them level three minutes after the restart.

The White Wolves' joy was short-lived however, as Clipstone's Dominic Jones restored their lead just two minutes later.

Both sides went close to scoring again but the hosts saw the game out to record a valuable three points.

Town now sit seventh in the table but still in touch with the leaders, and having played fewer games than most.

This afternoon's game sees Louth complete their 2012 fixture list against Bottesford – a side with whom they shared a thrilling 3-3 draw at Park Avenue last weekend.

Manager Daryl Clare is again set to be without a number of first team regulars as they bid to finish the year on a high.
